Summer 2025

Unleash your child’s love for wildlife with The Creature Conservancy’s unforgettable summer camps! Designed for young animal enthusiasts, our camps offer hands-on experiences with exotic creatures, engaging educational activities, and up-close encounters that inspire awe and learning. Join us for a summer filled with discovery, adventure, and fun!

The day starts at 9am and ends at 4pm. The fee for a week long camp is $375. ($300 for the July 4th week). Due to staffing shortages, we do not offer before or after care.

Spaces fill quickly—reserve your spot today! Reservation begins on February 3rd at 5 pm for members and February 17th at 5 pm for non-members.

1st & 2nd Graders

Sensational Species

June 16th - 20th & July 21st - 25th

Explore the unique adaptations animals have by learning about all five senses! Campers will get the opportunity to see many of these fascinating traits up close with animals that call The Creature Conservancy home.

Animal Adventures Around the World

June 23rd - 27th, August 4th - 8th, & August 18th - 22nd

Does your camper have dreams of seeing animals found all around the globe? Grab their ticket to travel right here at The Creature Conservancy! Campers will develop mapping skills while visiting animal species that live in a variety of habitats around the world.

Creature Classifiers: What animal is this?

July 14th - 18th & August 11th - 15th

What makes a mammal a mammal? What about a reptile or a bird? Discover the unique differences between each animal classification while visiting animals of all kinds around The Creature Conservancy!


3rd & 4th Graders

Build-a-Zoo

July 7th - 11th & July 21st - 25th

Enhance your design skills while learning about the process of constructing habitats for animals here at The Creature Conservancy! For this unique camp session, campers will use their creativity skills to construct their own habitats and discover the complex needs of providing a space for captive wildlife.

Zoology Explorers

June 16th - 20th, July 14th - 18th, & August 4th - 8th

Calling all animal lovers! In this immersive session, campers will explore the many facets of studying animals. They will investigate the anatomy, behavior and classification of the diverse groups of animals that live here at The Creature Conservancy. Campers will also have the opportunity to explore zookeeping duties, including feeding and enrichment.

Reptile Mania

July 28th - August 1st & August 18th - 22nd

Does your camper have a special interest in snakes, lizards, turtles and more? Dive into the wonderful world of reptiles during this camp session and learn about all the special traits of the many reptiles that live here at The Creature Conservancy!


5th & 6th Graders

Zoologist in Training

June 23rd - 27th & August 11th - 15th

Is your camper looking to become a zookeeper or zoologist? Learn first hand about all the tasks of zookeeping from the staff here at The Creature Conservancy! Campers will have the exclusive opportunity to observe crucial duties of a zookeeper or zoologist such as training, enrichment, feeding and care.

Wildlife Wonders

July 28th - August 1st

This nature-centered camp session is perfect for a camper who loves to be outside and investigate the fascinating connections between plants, animals and the world around them. Campers will develop their research skills as they adventure the great outdoors, and visit their favorite animals at The Creature Conservancy.


7th - 9th Graders

Conservationists: Protecting Wildlife

July 7th - 11th

Passionate about conserving wildlife species? Learn why wildlife need our help, and the complex issues they face. Visit endangered wildlife species we care for at The Creature Conservancy, while discovering the many ways you can make a difference for these animals.


10th - 12th Graders

Compassion in Action: Animal Welfare and Husbandry

June 30th - July 3rd

How do we give the best care possible to the captive wildlife who call The Creature Conservancy home? Get a behind the scenes look at the animal welfare and husbandry practices we use to ensure our animals have an excellent quality of life. Gain experience with researching animal behavior and creating enrichment for the many species at The Creature Conservancy.
