Help us name our baby emu!

This May, our emu pair Agnes and Abner welcomed a female emu chick. Our team has been working on a list of names but we just can’t decide! Please help us decide what to name The Creature Conservancy’s newest addition. All proceeds will go to furthering our mission of conservation through education.

Possible Names:

“Nova” Nova Peris is the first indigenous Australian to win an Olympic gold medal. Also, Nova is a part of the emu’s scientific name, Dromaius novahollandiae.

“Maisey” Another name derived from the emu’s scientific name Dromaius novahollandiae.

“Samantha/Sammy” An ode to the show Bewitched, to go with the names of our four other Emus, Agnes, Abner, Gladys, and Uncle Arthur.
