Unleash your child’s love for wildlife with The Creature Conservancy’s unforgettable summer camps! Designed for young animal enthusiasts, our camps offer hands-on experiences with exotic creatures, engaging educational activities, and up-close encounters that inspire awe and learning. Join us for a summer filled with discovery, adventure, and fun!

The day starts at 9am and ends at 4pm. The fee for a week long camp is $375. Due to staffing shortages, we do not offer before or after care.

1st & 2nd Graders

Travel the world as we visit a new habitat each day, including rain forests, deserts, and tundras to name a few. Learn about the animals and plants that live in each area, and the features that make each one special and unique.

3rd & 4th Graders

Jump into our time machine and travel back in time. Explore some of the earliest animals to appear on Earth, the critters that walked alongside dinosaurs, and present day dinosaur relatives. Image what a prehistoric world would have looked like compared to today!

Backyard Biology

Learn how to make your backyard into a paradise for the animals that also call it home. Become an ecodesigner and discover how to “build” homes for butterflies, hummingbirds, and fireflies through small gardening and construction projects.

Mammal Madness

Join us as we learn about the most charismatic group of animals, mammals! From the way our furry friends move, to how they think, and communicate, mammals have developed special strategies that make their survival so successful.

5th & 6th Graders

Predators exist in all animal groups including mammals, birds, reptiles, and even insects! Discover the tools that predators use to find and catch their prey, as well as the defenses that prey use to slip away unharmed.

Slither of “scute” into this camp about our scaly friends! Learn about turtles, tortoises, lizards, snakes, and crocodilians as we explore what it means to be a reptile.

What do a spider, jellyfish and clam have in common? Unearth characteristics that unite (and divide) invertebrates, as we explore a group that makes up 97% of all animals.

Creature Cognitiion

How do our animals learn and make choices? How do keepers work to keep animals physically and mentally healthy? We will explore these questions as well as topics that include animal welfare, cooperative care, and enrichment in this introduction to animal behavior.
