We’re celebrating Harry’s (our wolf hybrid) first anniversary at the Creature Conservancy!
His life before that included being bought and sold on Craigslist and eventually being abandoned. wolf hybrids are illegal as pets in Michigan and Typical zoos won’t accept hybrid animals. unless a facility like ours took him in, he would have been euthanized. Fortunately for Harry (and for us!), we were able to Obtain the required permits and give him the medical attention that he needed and a forever home.
Since then, Harry has captured the hearts of our staff, volunteers, and all the visitors who have had the chance to meet him. That said, Harry brings additional expenses with his meat-heavy diet and his expansive housing needs.
A guy like Harry needs a large yard with special features to ensure that he can lead a safe and secure life with us here at The Creature Conservancy. We are asking you for your help to build Harry’s House. The estimated cost for this habitat is $75,000. Any amount you can donate is helpful and appreciated so very much!
